Cookies and analytics
Last updated 28 September 2026
We use Google Analytics to understand how people find Emperor AI: how many visit, which pages and posts brought them, and how many go on to create an account. This page explains exactly where it runs and where it never does.
Where we measure
- This website, emperorailabs.com.
- The sign-in and sign-up pages of the app: login, register, plans, and the first onboarding screen at app.emperorailabs.com.
Links in our social posts carry tags (for example utm_source=linkedin) so we can tell which post a visit came from.
Where we never measure
Analytics is switched off on every page inside the app once you are signed in. Your documents, matters, questions, answers and the names of your files are never sent to Google Analytics. On the pages we do measure, we send the page address without anything after the ?, and a fixed page title, never the title of anything you have open.
Cookies we set
_gaand_ga_ZTBCEMZFP9: first-party cookies set by Google Analytics to tell one visit from another. They hold a random identifier, not your name or email.ga_signup_sent: a note kept in your browser (not a cookie) so a new account is counted once.
The app also uses cookies it needs to keep you signed in. Those are not used for analytics.
How to opt out
You can block cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's Analytics opt-out add-on. Emperor AI works the same either way.
